Mar 30, 2024This on-demand workshop offers a personal exploration of mindful inquiry, a questioning method that enhances present-moment awareness. Facilitated by a certified mindfulness instructor, the session includes a foundational “Mindful Eating” practice adapted from MBSR and MBCT programs. Designed to be neurodiversity-informed and trauma-sensitive, this workshop provides practical tools for health professionals, therapists, facilitators, and newcomers to mindfulness. Gain insights into adapting mindful practices for diverse needs while deepening your understanding of mindfulness for personal and professional growth.
Learning Objectives:
- Apply inquiry to deepen present-moment awareness.
- Practice “Mindful Eating” to cultivate mindfulness-based awareness.
- Understand neurodiversity and trauma-sensitive mindfulness adaptations.
Practices:
- Brief overview of the “Mindful Eating” mindfulness practice (Preparation: Bring a raisin, cranberry, or piece of chocolate)
- Mindful Eating practice (5-min)
- Inquiry questions examining the present-moment experience of the practice
